George Sloan

 

Chief Procurement Officer

George Sloan is Chief Procurement Officer of NCR. George leads NCR’s global manufacturing, supply chain and procurement teams.

 

George has responsibility for NCR’s manufacturing, which includes insourced and outsourced operations on three continents, delivering the ATM, self-checkout (SCO) and point-of-sale (POS) systems that serve the world’s largest banks, retailers and restaurants. He also oversees NCR’s supply chain and procurement, including logistics, inventory management and repair operations, and supports the company’s field services team and manufacturing operations.

 

Before joining NCR, George led AT&T’s international data, roaming and IOT solutions organization, with offices in more than 30 countries. During George’s tenure at AT&T, he served as chairman of Wireless Maritime Services (WMS), a leading maritime cellular network provider majority owned by AT&T. Prior to his international role, George was responsible for AT&T’s $40 billion procurement and supply chain operations for both infrastructure and consumer products. His career has included operations, planning and business development roles.

 

George holds a B.S. degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Michigan State University. He lives in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
