Tell us a little about your career journey. What is your role at NCR? (previous role, current role and tenure for both)
I joined NCR for the first time back in August 2015. I was hired by my first manager to join a newly formed Forecasting & Planning team as a Business Operation Analyst.
We worked together for two and a half years. I then took a new role as the Business Intelligence (BI)/Big Data Manager in the BI organization. I held this role for the next two years before briefly departing NCR in May 2020.
In August 2021, my original manager reached out to me to work with him again as a BI/Data Engineering Manager. Because of the positive relationship I had with him from my first tenure at NCR, I was excited to return to #NCRLife.
What brought you to NCR most recently? Why did you consider coming back to NCR after leaving?
I was drawn back to NCR because of my previous manager. I have a high opinion of my manager in terms of how he leads the team and the organization. Both my manager and my previous colleagues were a huge part of my decision to return.
I also knew I wanted a job that focuses on BI and data-driven results, which is exactly what I was recruited to come back for. I want to continue driving my career in the field I am currently in.
Once presented with this career opportunity, it was an easy choice to come to NCR because of the respect I had for the team and the work I knew we could accomplish together.

What should NCR highlight to new/returning employees to ignite interest?
NCR is a world of its own. Here, you have the possibility to work with colleagues from all over the world with different backgrounds, languages and cultures.
We track all technology trends, so we have the opportunity to work in new software and tools.
To me, NCR is a great place to start your career due to the variety of opportunities it gives its employees in terms of learning, growth and trying new things.
How do you describe NCR now? Is it different than how you described NCR previously?
I was only gone for a year, so in general, it is still the same company moving towards its mission to be software- and services-led.
Personally, the biggest difference is the opening of the Belgrade, Serbia campus in 2021. This was a huge and very important milestone for the team in Belgrade. NCR has had a presence in Serbia for 10 years, and finally, all of our employees are under one roof. It has had a positive impact on everything.
What is your favorite part about working at NCR?
The people and the atmosphere at NCR is something very unique. It’s an extreme joy to work in an environment like this.
What has been your favorite project you’ve worked on, or the one you are most proud of?
There are many projects which I am professionally proud of, but the thing that brings me the most satisfaction is seeing people from my first management tenure still at NCR. I enjoy seeing how much each of them has learned and grown both professionally and personally.
